The new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare trailer just dropped, and the release date for the game will be October 25. Unlike Black Ops 4, the previous entry of the game, this one will have a single-player campaign. The campaign will be divided into two parts. You’ll have the opportunity to play in the Middle East as a rebel fighter, and in the other one, you’ll play as a Tier 1 operator. This game is a reboot with a new storyline, not a sequel to Modern Warfare 3; however, we will see familiar faces from the already mentioned game.

As for the controversy claims, Jacob Minkoff, design director on Modern Warfare, said: “…if we show a world where the heroes fight the terrorists and win, you never see the impact on the average person, the collateral damage, or the morally gray situations that soldiers themselves have to face.” ; “We are telling a story about modern war in the real world,”.
Some of the past entries of the game received a lot of critiques on the single-player campaigns, so much so that Treyarch decided to remove it from Black Ops 4 entirely. Modern Warfare will be a way to restore the players’ faith in the Call of Duty Campaign mode and based on the trailer, we’re in for a treat with this new game.
